Bold Predictions for Week 13 in the 2024 NFL Season: Los Angeles Chargers vs. Atlanta Falcons

As always, establishing a strong run game with Dobbins already ruled out may prove to be difficult. Edwards and Haskins need to step up.

3. Limit Turnovers and Control the Clock

Ball security will likely be the key to victory. Entering week 13, the Los Angeles Chargers still lead the league in the fewest turnovers at 5, while the Atlanta Falcons come in at 13th.  While the Chargers offense rarely turns the ball over, the defense has struggled to force turnovers coming in at 15th in the league with 13 turnovers.

Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman's offense stresses the importance of time of possession through sustained drives this season and that will be no different this Sunday. The Chargers complimentary offense will wear down Atlanta's defense, which has struggled against longer drives this season. Maintaining possession and keeping Cousins and Robinson off the field will further tip the game in Los Angeles' favor.
